Davey rolled over onto his back and yawned, covering his mouth with his right hand, and stretching out with is left arm. He sat up bolt-right when he realized he was not in his bed. He laughed at himself a little when he remembered where he was, but stopped abruptly he he thought of the reason he was there. He looked worriedly at the door, thinking of dear Jenna. He tilted his head up when he smelled a familiar smell. Coffee. He recognized the smell of the popular beverage. He tossed the covers off of him, and swung his legs over the edge of the bed and started for the kitchen.
He leaned against the door frame of the kitchen. Jenna must have propped it open. He smiled to himself, taking in the beauty of this woman. she was wearing a black tank top and short, navy blue shorts. Her magnificent hair had not been brushed yet, but Davey thought that was rather, well... sexy. A couple of her tattoos (all of her tatoos consisted of a few AFI tattoos, a butterfly, many hearts, and a picture of a black tree, which stretched across her lower back, and up the right side of her back) that were on her arms and legs were visible. The top of the tree on her back peeked out over the neckline of her shirt. She was currently spreading butter on some (what Davey hoped to be) vegan muffins. She walked the two steps to her coffee pot and poured coffee into two white cups with flowers hand-painted on them. When she put the pot back, Davey decided to announce his presence.
"Good morning," he said pleasantly. Jenna jumped a little. Her hand flew to her chest, landing over her heart.
"Give a woman a heart attack, why don'tcha!" She said, smiling happily. Davey grinned; his stomache was fluttering.
"How'd you sleep last night, sweet heart?" he softly asked her, once again running his hands through her hair. My, God, how he found it irresistable! She smiled shyly at him.
"Mmm, well enough," she responded. But Davey knew better; she hadn't got an adequate amount of sleep. "You?" she asked him.
"Better than you, I believe," he said, not meaning to let his saddness float into his voice. But it was too late. Jenna heard it. She looked up at him, somewhat puzzled. Davey quickly turned his gaze away. Jenna put her hand on his cheek, turning his face, so he would be looking right at her.
"I'm fine. Really Davey. There's no need to worry so much about me," she tried to convince him, but to no avail.
"Yeah, but.." Davey trailed off, not finding his voice to tell her how he felt. Jenna put one finger to his lips.
"Shh. No buts," they looked into each others eyes, both were terrified at this point. Inch by inch, they moved closer to each other. Jenna could feel Davey's warm, heavy breath. Davey slowly closed his eyes and let Jenna melt into him.
BRINGGGGGGG, BRINGGGGG!
Fuck! Davey thought to himself, angrily. Jenna dropped her head onto his shoulder, and Davey kissed her forhead.
"I better get that," she sadly said as the phone kept ringing. Davey nodded.
"Yeah." Jenna looked up at him before running off to the living room. Davey ran his hand through his ebony hair.
FUCK!! he thought again, fixing both cups of coffee; Jenna's with two Sweet-n-Lows, and his with non-dairy creamer. He sipped his coffee angrily.
 I'll cut off my own right hand if it isn't Kyle, he thought, throughly pissed. He softly stepped over the the door leading to the living room.
"Kyle, leave me the fuck alone. NO! There was no mistake, I know it was you....... Oh, don't give me that bullshit. If you loved me, you wouldn't have done this. No, I am done. 'Bye, asshole."
Jenna slamed down the reciever and procceded to unplug the phone jack. Davey retreated back to the counter when she stood up. He didn't want her to know he was eavesdropping. Jenna walked angrily through the door.
"Kyle?" Davey asked, even though he knew the answer. She looked up at him, her eyes brimming with tears, and nodded. Davey set his cup of coffee down and stretch his arms out to her, she walked toward him, holding him gratefully. And she let her tears fall.

After Jenna had a good cry, and they had both eaten a good breakfast, Davey was quite tired. He hadn't had a goodnight's sleep last night, either. It must have been obvious, because Jenna asked him if he wanted to go take a nap. He nodded.
"Yeah, I really kind of do." Jenna smiled gently.
"You can take my bed."
"Thanks, sweetie. Hey, Jenna?" Jenna looked up at him. "Yes?"
"You wanna come with me?" He asked, and for the first time, Jenna saw his great, incredible eyes look timid. She smiled.
"Yes, I do," she replied. Davey smiled at her and held his hand out for her to hold. Together, they walked to Jenna's room. Davey pulled back the pure white sheets and let Jenna slid in. He followed, resting his arm around her neck, pulling her toward him. They held each other. Jenna softly rubbed Davey's shoulder. Tears filled her eyes again, but for different reason.
"I love you," she said in slightly more than a whisper, and softly kissed his chest.
But he had already fallen asleep.
